With landscape installations we start with a blank slate.  Often times this is common with construction of new homes.  Also if you just bought a property and there is no existing landscape.

Landscape rehabilitation and transformation is where we give the desired area of your property a facelift.  This can be a combination of many of our services all in one from pruning overgrown bushes, creating new mulch beds or even revitalizing the lawn.  We love to reuse as much character of the property as possible, but the sky is the limit and we can transform the property however you desire.

Mulching serves many purposes but primarily aesthetics for most people.  It also helps with weed suppression.  For greater weed suppression especially on new installs we use landscape fabric.  If desired we also create a natural edge to create a crisp clean border between the mulch and lawn.

When applying mulch it is very important to lay down the correct thickness.  Often times we see mulch applied too thick which presents problems for plants.  When this happens the corrective action is to remove the mulch and start over.

Planting is an essential part of the landscape industry.  We offer planting for perennial plants, plants that are long lasting year after year if proper care is taken.  We also offer annual planting.  This provides seasonal color to your landscape.  We can also assist you in planning out and planting your yearly vegetable garden.

There are many variables to creating a lush green lawn that everyone strives for.  The main ingredient is nutrient rich topsoil and a substantial base of it.  We create this base for you then decide together which type of grass you want.  Once we choose the grass type we can decide if you want bare seed and straw, hydro-seeding or sod installation all which come at different price points.  We can also help you decide and make recommendations for setting up the proper maintenance program including watering, fertilizing and weed prevention.   

Pruning is an essential part to maintain plant health while also giving you the aesthetics you desire.  Pruning is not as simple as shearing every plant you see.  Some plants do not respond well to shearing and require more intricate hand pruning.  We specialize in this intricate process with staying up to date with industry standards and practices.

Another reason for pruning is to keep you plants away from your home.  Although plants generally add value to your property they can just as easily cause future repairs if not managed properly.
